Alpaca esencia uses the finest quality alpaca natural yarns from the Andean regions of Bolivia and Peru. Alpaca have lustrous, soft fleeces with an ingenious insulating air pocket in every hair to cope with annual temperatures ranging from -25°c to +18°c.
Alpaca wools are luxury fibers with superior properties: lightweight and comfortable, silky soft to the touch, stain-resistant, lanolin-free, less liable to pilling, warmer and more durable than sheep wool.
