Artist Biography: Christine Hoyne
Christine Hoyne is an emerging artist based in Gippsland, Victoria, where the stunning landscapes and diverse flora serve as her primary inspiration. In 2022, Christine attended a transformative painting workshop that ignited her passion for creativity. Since then, she has channelled her artistic expression into vibrant depictions of roses and native Australian flowers, often capturing their grandeur in bold, colourful compositions.
Before embracing her artistic journey, Christine dedicated many years to the public health sector, where she developed a strong sense of community and care. In 2024, she made a pivotal decision to leave her role in public health and devote herself entirely to painting. This shift has allowed her to explore her creativity fully and share her love for the natural beauty surrounding her.
Christine’s work reflects her connection to her environment, celebrating the rich colours and textures of the Australian landscape.
